I have been practicing as a massage therapist/bodyworker since 2004. I received my initial training at Oregon School of Massage in Portland with a focus on Shiatsu and Eastern Medicine and then continued intensive training in Thai Massage and Chi Nei Tsang in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I have been hugely influenced by, studying and practicing, the eastern spiritual and healing traditions of Daoism, 5 Element Chinese Medicine, and Soto Zen practice. As a dancer/ movement artist I am also deeply influenced by more contemporary movement arts such as Contact Improvisation, Body-Mind Centering, and Feldenkris. I completed a Holistic Health Coaching Certificate program in 2012 at Institute for Integrative Nutrition and have been self-studying human nutrition and all things related to restoring gut health for most of my life. Chronic health issues have been a deep teacher for me and have inspired me to learn about healing on the deepest levels possible and that priority continues to this day. I love teaching, coaching, and guiding healing practices because it empowers people to do their own healing work. Integrity, responsibility, empowerment, and vitality can be cultivated to restore health. My intention in all I do is an invitation to slow down and reconnect with one’s own deep inner rhythms, knowing, and natural vitality. I currently live in Bend, Oregon.
